Canada-Wide Science Fair Participants

The top students (max. 7 students) in the VIRSF get a PAID TRIP to represent the Vancouver Island Region at the Canada Wide Science Fair (CWSF). Students must be under 21 years of age and registered in grades 7-12 or equivalent. The 2022 CWSF took place in Fredricton, NB from May 15-17, 2022, but was a virtual event and all judging was online. In 2023 the CWSF took place from May 13-20 in Edmonton AB. The 2024 CWSF was held May 26-31 in Ottawa ON. The 2025 CWSF will take place May 31 – June 7, 2025 at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton NB.
